In 2008, OIT put on the Cyber Security Fair to educate students on Cyber Security Month. I was in charge of OIT’s presence in the Fair and designing all of the decorations and interactive pieces. Since this occurs in October, we used a Halloween theme. We included stations for students to take their own photos with common security threats, such as viruses and phishing schemes. We created various decorations, such as ghost decorations made from cleaning rags, and collected decorations from various staff to contribute to the fair.
