I’m an IT professional with more than 20 years of experience combining instructional technology, communications and marketing, training, managerial, and public relations skills in higher education.

I have been involved with several campus-wide advisory panels and have been asked to provide advice to C-level executivies, the Provost, and other administrators.

Communication is a critical component for any successful group, so I’ve created several internal and external web sites and social media groups to enable employees and customers to find the information they need. In addition, I’ve created our most requested training workshops and developed a bi-yearly LinkedIn Clinic to help students on campus which serves hundreds of students. This clinic was later adopted by the Center for Career Development at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and renamed Careerchella. We continued to partner with CCD in providing professional headshots, LinkedIn profile consultations, and website/portfolio consultations while CCD provided resume consultations. In addition, we partnered with Smokey’s Closet, a group on campus which provides free interview clothing for students.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Master of Arts in English Literature.
